First off, I want to say Happy Late Birthday Katelyn!
"Hello Everybody! It's Katelyn!
Hey guys!! How is everyone?? Great I hope! Wow I've been so busy lately.. I just got back from Japan and the Philippines and I had a blast! The plane ride was torture haha..but once we got there and recovered from the 11 hour time change! it was so cool. I got to do some awesome radio shows, performed at a some big CD stores with my album actually on the shelves hah.. original.gif the shopping was incredible..of course..and it was so fun performing at all of my shows! Thank you to all of my Japanese fans! I was overwhelmed at the support and generosity and hopefully I'll get to go back very soon.
Also thanks to everyone in The Philippines! I had such a great time there as well..It was filled with radio shows, performances at the Mall of Asia(almost the biggest mall in Asia!!) the MegaMall, and a photo shoot with Candy magazine-I'm going to be on the cover of their December issue! So that was exciting..I also shot a music video to "I'll Make it Real" feat Aaron. He's an up and coming Filipino artist who did a duet on the song and a really nice guy. Not to mention very cute =D haha..I'm looking forward to seeing the final product. I also had this HUGE billboard with my face on it..on the main highway! It was great but..a little scary?
All in all..my October adventures were so exciting and such great experiences! I'm so thankful that I got the chance to travel and see a different part of the world....I'm looking forward to the Jingle Jam shows in December and I can't thank you enough for all of your support!! Talk to you soon =D
P.S. I just found out I'm screen testing for a new pilot on MTV. Keep me in your prayers and I'll keep you posted!!"

September 4th, 2006 :: Its a "BRAND NEW DAY"!
Katelyn is going to Japan in a little more than a month from now, and shes getting ready! The 14 track album titled "Brand New Day", will be out 9.27.06 in Japan, so all you fans in Japan should pre-order your copy today! For any US fans who would like Brand New Day will have to order it from Japan. Sorry, its not going to be out here. Speaking of the album, you can hear a BRAND NEW song which was produced by Andy and Adam, the writers and producers of Jesse McCartney's "Beautiful Soul", called "Chasing Echoes"on her official myspace. August 29th, 2006 :: Boomsday and Japan!
For anyone that was planning to go to her Boomsday show in Knoxville, theres some bad news. Since the event changed management, the organizers made some cuts in the show. Unfortunately Katelyn was one of the many few cut from the show. I sorry to those who wanted to go, maybe she'll go another show out there some other time, keep your fingers crossed. Now for more Japan news, Katelyn has a little over a month left until she leaves the US for Japan to promote her 'Brand New Day' album and we're all excited. Recently shes appeared in a Japanese Teen magazine in the 'Hot News' section. Seeing her along side music stars like Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Fergie really gets us excited! We hope the best for Katelyn in Japan and hopefully it will be a big boost in her international career.

August 24th, 2006 :: Katelyn in JAPAN!
Katelyn is undergoing a new experience as she is off to Japan! She will be there in October promoting her album titled, 'Brand New Day'. The Japanese version of 'Wonderful Crazy' will include 12 songs and 2 bonus tracks. That means 4 deffinate new songs. This is great news for her fans here and in Japan. We really hope that she has a great time there. For the japanese fans that can read this, she will be doing promotion at these places:

"Katelyn Tarver was in Nashville this week to film a new TV ad campaign for the Gospel Music Channel! The new promotional campaign features Katelyn Tarver, Michael W. Smith, BarlowGirl, Audio Adrenaline, George Huff, Canton Jones and Natalie Grant, and will air during programs such as Oprah!, Dr. Phil, 7th Heaven and more this fall. Her debut music video “Wonderful Crazy” (from the CD Wonderful Crazy) recently hit #1 on GMC, and it’s in heavy rotation on numerous outlets nationwide. Later this month, Katelyn will co-host the Miss Freedom Pageant with MJ Garrett from MTV’s The Real World, and then she’ll travel to Japan for a 2-week promotional tour, with live performances and television appearances planned in major markets. This Christmas, Katelyn will join The Jonas Brothers and The Truth Squad on select dates of the Jingle Jam Tour."
Although most of this information has been released, its still GREAT news for Katelyn and her career. We hope to get all the recent media from all these new events she will par-take in. Long time no talk! Even though most of our interests have strayed away from Katelyn and the site, we want to assure everyone that the site won't be going anywhere. We've been busy which also contributed to the decrease of updates and we will try to make updates more often than we have in the past. Hey, there has been not many Kate updates lately and I only have a month left of school so I hope theres more time for updates. On Katelyn's myspace she left a message to her fans:
"Hey y'all
Just a quick hello. Hope everyone is doing good. I've been on the road lately so I have not had a chance to write back to everyone on kto and on myspace. Sorry about that I try to get to as many emails and letters as possible.
First off I have to thank everyone who has been so supportive in the last couple of months. John and everyone at Q92, the show was awesome (thanks to Liz for hanging out with us). Robin, Jay and everyone at all the Radio Disney stations. Chadrick at G-Pop, Kevin and Sean at KSK, WQIL thanks for playing Wonderful Crazy, Smithy at XNDRadio.com, Kesley at katelyntarverfans.com and everyone else that I have worked with recently you guys have been awesome.
For everyone in the Savannah, GA area I will be guest dj on WZAT "Z102" on Friday night May 19th starting at 6:30 pm. I am really looking forward to it - it should be awesome. Then on Saturday May 20th I will be doing an in-s tore concert at the FYE store in Savannah, GA, so I hope to see you then.
